Timms returns to Volusia for Spring Showdown with World of Outlaws

Ryan Timms unloaded his driveWFX.com No. 5T Sprinter at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Fla.) on Sunday evening as 22 World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series competitors invaded the half-mile oval for the two-day Spring Showdown.

With a fifth-place finish in his heat race pinning him on the eighth row for the opener, Ryan dropped four spots in the 30-lap affair to finish 19th.

On Monday, Timms timed in 12th-fastest in his qualifying group before placing fifth in his heat. With $10,000 on the line in the Spring Showdown finale,
