Timms visits Port Royal Speedway for Tuscarora 50
Ryan Timms made a guest appearance behind the wheel of the Heffner Racing No. 27H Sprint Car over the weekend as the 57th annual Tuscarora 50 kicked off at Port Royal (PA) Speedway.
Joining a stacked field of 51 High Limit Sprint Car Series entries, Timms wasn't able to qualifiy for Thursday’s opener but found speed as the night progressed. He followed up a 12th-place heat finish with a ninth-to-fifth run in the C-Main.
On Friday, Ryan’s sixth-place finish in his heat relegated him into a B-Main. Gunning for a transfer spot, Timms fell short with a seventh-place outing.
Timms’ weekend drew to an early close with an eighth-place result in his C-Main on Saturday evening, ending his bid for the $57,000-to-win main event.
